Here we are! The 3rd of March, the reveal day!
It was such fun working with the beads my partner Adlinah sent me, discovering some new ways to design and work out of my environment!
Just as a reminder this is what I received from Adlinah
I think that this is totally a new style for me, really enjoyed it, and loved it!
It’s my first time to work with handmade lamp work beads, and now I’m planning on ordering some for myself, because I really like it!
I also like the metallic pieces as I’m not very used to use spacers or links, in fact I’m usually seed beading, so the whole thing Adlinah sent wasn’t something I usually work with, that was interesting!
So this is the result I had, and believe it or not, a half of this work was done this morning, just before posting this!
Some detailed pictures
And this is a bracelet, it’s elastic
And the last piece is a pair of earrings
I still have some beads left, going to work with them later because I’m out of time!
I didn’t used much things from my stash, some wires,a chain, seed beads and the green cord
What do you think?!
Happy beading!
I LOVE what you made with the beads Hajer! The necklace is great. I would never have thought to use the spacers as dangles. And isn’t it funny we both made stretch bracelets? The earrings are really cute too. I’m glad you had fun playing with my bead soup. I sure had fun playing with yours :-). Can’t wait to see what you make with the remaining beads.
Thanks alot Adlinah!
glad that you like the soup I sent!
hope I’ll be able to work with the rest soon!
Have fun!
I love the central bead! I’m jellous for the beads you got 😉

You’d never know this is new stuff for you! That necklace is a show stopper!! Gorgeous. Love the other pieces, too. Obviously you have a flair for more than seed beads!
I absolutely love the color palette and that focal is so special. It’s so cool how you suspended lampwork beads with wire. I’m not sure I would have thought of that!

I really like the way you use different kinds of materials for your necklace. The lampwork bead is amazing!
I love the teardrop shaped wire sections you used on the dotted disks. Also, interesting that you and your partner sent each other similar color schemes…was that on purpose or a happy accident? Either way, very cool!

Oh my wow! The necklace is gorgeous! I think that my favorite section ( second only of course to that fantastic focal bead) is the links that you have showcased in the 4th photo of the necklace. I really am in love with these ‘connectors’ and would never have thought to use the lampwork beads there – the result is just lovely. The stretchy bracelet immediately made me think of spring
Beautiful pieces…love the way you put everything together!!!
I think you did a fantastic job. I love that lampwork tree and you really did it justice. The way you used connectors, dangles, and other components is beautiful. I love your bracelet too. I have just got to try using elastic. I see such pretty bracelets but have never used it myself. Great job!

I like your soup, it was so good, and what you’ve done with it. Just awesome job, like how you did the wiring.
When Adlinah told me she sent one of my beads in a bead soup to you and you made a necklace from it i was thrilled. I sell a lot of beads but seldom see what someone has done with them. Plus i was curious to see which bead she sent. Well, you did a wonderful job! You really captured the feeling of Spring that i was thinking of when i made that tree bead. So lovely!
